Alachisoft is proud to be a participant and an exhibitor at the European SharePoint Conference last October. This is the largest independent SharePoint conference in Europe, designed to engage the SharePoint community including enthusiasts, industry experts, thought leaders, business decision makers and end users.

Returning to Europe after 3 years, SharePoint landmarked Berlin, Germany as the host city for the Conference from 17th to 20th of October, 2011. The event gathered a crowd of more than 200 companies and people from all over Germany and its neighboring countries including attendees from various career domains.

Alachisoft exhibited for the first time in European SharePoint Conference educating and promoting their StorageEdge product with a booth as well as demos gathering audience interested in externalizing BLOBS, archiving management, Caching, and more.
StorageEdge team also conducted a raffle draw towards the end of the exhibition with a prize of a Toshiba Net Book, which was won by Laurent Schoenaers (Vortalities, Belgium). We congratulate Laurent on his prize and thank him and all attendees for their time and visits to the booth.

Alachisoft is delighted to share its post event feedback for its participation at the Microsoft SharePoint Conference (SPC) 2011 in Anaheim, CA.

Microsoft SharePoint Conference is the most comprehensive event in the world dedicated to SharePoint and related technologies. With over 200+ sessions, SPC provides attendee with the training, insight and networking needed to develop, deploy, govern and get the most from SharePoint.

Alachisoft exhibited StorageEdge for the first time in a Microsoft SharePoint Conference. An application designed to optimize SharePoint Storage by externalizing BLOBs, archiving management, caching, and more. Visitors witnessed these remarkable features and noticed the strength of StorageEdge via live demos and presentations at the booth, apart from the brochures.

Customers from various part of the globe participated in the conference as exhibitors but mostly visitors. Table 1.1 depicts the geographical spread of visitors apart from the US and Canada who were 1600 in number, which is 90% of the total visitor population.
Alachisoft also conducted a lucky draw of Toshiba Net Book for its respected visitors. The winner of the netbook was Dante Marcuccio (SharePoint Desk, USA). We congratulate Dante on this award and thank him and all the visitors at the Conference.

Alachisoft, the pioneer of distributed caching solution now proudly announces NCache 4.1 with many new exciting high quality features and some major enhancements.

This new release gives you a whole package for runtime data sharing between multiple platforms (java & .Net) and it contains object level sharing, version based sharing, asynchronous data sharing (event based) and online data sharing across the WAN.

Previously object sharing between .Net and Java was slow and cumbersome due to XML serialization with the involvement of database but now runtime data sharing has made it trouble-free and faster because it uses binary serialization rather than typical XML serialization without involving database.

NCache 4.1 provides continuous query that synchronizes cache and application with each other. It lets you register against a query, which means application can ask for notifications whenever a record (data-set) is updated\modified, added or deleted (if you have registered for). The need of this synchronization becomes essential where multiple applications (especially of different platforms) access the same cache and can perform any operations (like addition, deletion and modification) which can affect other application's result as well. This is real time sharing and faster because it doesn't involve database.

Another useful feature that NCache has enhanced in 4.1 is "bridge topology". Bridge topology creates bridge node(s) where complete cache is replicated asynchronously over the WAN. NCache now introduces various bridge topologies for disaster recovery, run time and online data sharing across the WAN:

- Active/Passive
- Active/Active
- Hub-Spoke
- Star

These topologies allow application to scale-up up to the multiple regions through WAN without any extra coding and performance loss.

Alachisoft, makers of StorageEdge, has hinted the release of new version by the end of January with enhanced and added features. StorageEdge optimizes SharePoint storage by moving all docs/BLOBs out of the database with EBS/RBS and therefore reducing the database size to manageable levels.

The new edition shall be launched after a complete year from its 3.0 version. Each version has been providing the benefits such enhanced performance, cost reductions, high availability, secure content, and simplified migration, but the newer version introduces more than a dozen new features on top.

The new features are driven mainly by the customer feedback to augment more to performance, management, data recovery, policies, migration, and scalability headings.

Attributes 232% Revenue Growth to consistent delivery of technology solutions to healthcare practices nationwide
